If you are truly committed to your health and/or achieving your fitness goals, you will have to prioritize it. One of the biggest obstacles I hear from prospective clients is, “I just don’t have enough time.” Think about your entire day. Think about all of your activities from start to finish. Is there any one thing you can shave 10 minutes off of? Perhaps you don’t watch multiple episodes of tv one night. Perhaps you head straight home after work instead of chatting up your colleagues. Look at your day and see what can’t possibly be considered more important than your health. By reducing the time spent on that activity and allocating it to movement that will bring you closer to your wellness goals, you have prioritized your health.
